Overview
One of my responsibilities was to oversee the content design of the various brand experiences on the Best Buy website. Brand Experiences are page-length or multi-page-length vendor-funded customer experiences meant to showcase the various brands sold at Best Buy. KitchenAid is one of our latest brand projects, consisting of three dedicated pages.
My Role
I proofed the content provided by KitchenAid and prepared new copy that represented their brand. The content consisted of banner headlines, category descriptions, subheadings for product offer blocks, and more.
Challenges
Consistency
There’s a lot of text to manage when creating a brand experience. I unified the content experience across the three pages with a consistent tone and voice. It was fun to connect the touchpoints, but took time to effectively proof the copy to its published form.
Future Iteration
The vendor may request additional pages be added to the brand experience, to expand KitchenAid’s presence on our site even more.
